The Daily Mail recently had a piece about how not being on Facebook is starting to be seen as a sign that you’re antisocial, or have something to hide.

Among HR departments (even the ones that don’t insist that you give them your password so they can trawl your personal mail), “a lack of Facebook could mean the applicant’s account could be so full of red flags that it had to be deleted.”

My favorite bit by far, though, is the observation by German magazine Der Taggspiegel “that accused theater shooter James Holmes and Norwegian mass murder Anders Behring Breivik have common ground in their lack of Facebook profiles.”

Of course, you know who else didn’t have a Facebook profile….
